When love is expressed with an open hand there is no need to sacrifice one's authentic self to be in a relationship - there is freedom.
God is the author of all relationships. The principles of healthy relationships are found in the Bible. Christian counselling acknowledges the work of the Holy Spirit to bring healing. It also draws upon the strengths of various counselling and psychotherapeutic models.
Here at Open Hand Counselling we want to journey alongside you into the freedom and healing that you seek.

About us
Fear, jealousy and possessiveness are forces that destroy relationships. Fear drives control and control is the antithesis of love. When love is expressed with an open hand there is no need to sacrifice ones authentic self to be in a relationship - there is freedom to be.
Loving with an open hand reflects the following:
Jude and Daisy Morris at Open Hand Counselling draw from a range of approaches and techniques to explore the need and goals of clients. They believe that by making small changes in the way the problem is addressed, a powerful ripple effect of change can be generated.
Jude and Daisy are qualified and experienced counsellors. Jude’s passion includes working with couples and with men who struggle with sex and porn addiction. Jude is also an accredited supervisor and offers supervision for counsellors and staff in the community sector.
As a registered mental health social worker, Daisy has extensive experience working with all age groups affected by anxiety, depression, stress and grief and loss.
Jude Morris
Drawing from 15 years of clinical experience and from several counselling and psychotherapeutic models, Jude seeks to create sustainable change for people who seek counselling. These changes generate a momentum of their own and in most cases lead to bigger changes and positive outcome for his clients.
Throughout the counselling journey, Jude walks alongside his clients offering his presence, support and understanding, while trusting that the client is the expert of his/her own life.
Prior to becoming a counsellor, Jude along with his wife Daisy, was a missionary for 16 years. During this time he was involved in mentoring and training young people. He also worked extensively with families. With a sound understanding and training in theology and counselling, Jude is able to integrate Biblical principles and counselling strategies to secure the best outcome for his clients.
